FDA：輝瑞抗生素 增死亡風險

美國食品暨藥物管理局（FDA）今天警告，輝瑞大藥廠（Pfizer Inc）生產的抗生素Tygacil會增加死亡風險，無論是用在經FDA批准的症狀還是未經批准的症狀。

根據FDA，輝瑞必須在該藥標籤加註黑框警語，意味風險程度達最高級。

Tygacil一般透過靜脈注射，FDA說，唯有替代性治療無效或不適用的情況下才應該使用Tygacil。

FDA批准Tygacil用於治療複雜的皮膚和腹腔感染，以及社區感染型肺炎，但未批准其用於治療糖尿病足感染或院內感染型肺炎。

FDA早在2010年9月就提醒臨床醫師，Tygacil的死亡風險比其他用於治療嚴重感染的藥物要高。

FDA表示，高升的死亡風險以院內感染型肺炎患者居多。

不過輝瑞發言人表示，「基於抗藥性細菌在世界各地不斷增加，Tygacil仍是FDA批准症狀治療的合宜選項」。

FDA表示，Tygacil死亡風險高於其他藥物的原因，目前還不清楚。
