【綜合報導】海洋中的塑膠垃圾，嚴重威脅生態，造成不少海洋生物死亡，荷蘭一名19歲學生構思出一款海洋吸塵機，用浮柵當平台收集海洋裡的塑膠垃圾，聲稱用5年時間就能淨化海洋。

構思這款海洋吸塵器的荷蘭代爾夫特科技大學學生柏楊史萊特(Boyan Slat)指出，他的設計可收集200億噸海洋塑膠垃圾，其發明採環保設計，利用太陽能和潮浪發電，由於不用網， 魚和浮游生物不會被無辜打撈，收集到的塑膠，又可賣給回收商賺一筆，每年預估可賺5億美元。
