國民黨政策會執行長林鴻池今參加黨政會報時，向黨主席、馬英九總統建議應舉行服貿辯論，他說，立法院要舉辦十六場公聽會，就算辦一百場效果也不大；倒不如舉行辯論，可能吸引上百萬人觀看，效果好，民眾才能真正了解，馬總統表示，完全配合。
