南檢查獲賭場 有民代在場

臺南地檢署查獲職業天九牌賭場，當場逮捕賭場負責人及賭客共計50人，令檢方驚訝的是，賭客之中還有某位台南市議員在場，這名議員表示，他是跟朋友一起去找朋友，相當後悔。

南檢檢察官林仲斌指揮市警局及保五、偵八隊等單位深入追查，經派員秘密蒐證，發現賭場設於府前路與大智街口某大樓，是一處已停業多時的舞廳內，出入賭客均有專車接送，賭場把關嚴密，入口處及大樓四周都有放哨把風，並且裝設監視器以逃避查緝。

26日下午出動30多人對賭場出入口執行全面監控，27日凌晨時機成熟發動搜索行動，在現場查獲賭場王姓負責人、車手、帳務、把風及工作人員等14人，另有現場賭客36人，扣得賭資現金251萬3千元、天九牌賭具6付、監視器1組、無線電6台及載運賭客使用之車輛2部等物。

執勤員警進入賭場，清查在場賭客身分，赫然發現臺南市某位男性議員在賭客之列，該名議員的說法是，跟朋友進去找朋友，沒有參與，對此感到後悔。該議員所屬的黨團則表示，將邀當事人說明，若確有不當行為，黨團及黨部會勇於面對，絕不迴避。

全案經林仲斌檢察官訊問後，賭場負責人諭令以10萬元交保。
