新北市政府衛生局與肝病防治學術基金會將於10月5日上午8：00至12：00在新莊區體育館(小巨蛋)，辦理「102年新北市免費肝炎及肝癌大檢驗」免費健康檢查，預計篩檢服務1萬人次，呼籲本市年滿27歲以上新北市市民，一起加入健康檢查的行列，關心自己及家人的健康。
記者李鴻典／台北報導 新北市政府衛生局與肝病防治學術基金會將於10月5日上午8：00至12：00在新莊區體育館(小巨蛋)，辦理「102年新北市免費肝炎及肝癌大檢驗」免費健康檢查，預計篩檢服務1萬人次，呼籲本市年滿27歲以上新北市市民，一起加入健康檢查的行列，關心自己及家人的健康。 新北市衛生局說，一向對衛生醫療環境及醫療服務品質提昇特別重視，期望能普遍照顧全市各區市民，故大力推動社區到點式健康檢查服務，由101年度新北市29區31,939位成人健康檢查發現，肝功能篩檢異常人數為3,278人，其中有17人為肝癌，可見肝病的威脅性。 101年肝癌是新北市10大癌症死因排名之第二位，而肝癌的危險因子主要是B型肝炎及C型肝炎。「B型肝炎帶原者」相對於非帶原者罹患肝癌的機率超過20倍；「C型肝炎帶原者」相對於非感染者罹患肝癌的機率約5-10倍；「B型肝炎帶原者合併C型肝炎帶原者」相對於非感染者罹患肝癌的機率約150倍以上。 而肝臟是「沉默的器官」本身沒有痛覺神經，不易有疼痛的感覺且肝病不一定會有症狀，許多患者常不知道自己有肝病，往往要透過肝功能檢查才知道是否有肝炎，而居民平日忙於為生活打拚容易忽略健康。 本次篩檢檢查項目包含：Ｂ型肝炎表面抗原、Ｂ型肝炎表面抗體、Ｃ型肝炎、肝癌檢查(甲種胎兒蛋白AFP)、肝功能(GOT、GPT)。參加篩檢民眾不必空腹，請攜帶身份證件，本次所有檢查完全免費。當天前往之前1,000名篩檢民眾並可獲贈精緻玻璃保鮮盒，檢查結果二週內寄送予民眾，檢查異常者將由衛生福利部台北醫院協助做後續衛教及追蹤。
