首位同志球員柯林斯，新球季仍乏人問津

美國《紐約時報》報導，上季季末公開出櫃，公布自己同志性向的NBA中鋒柯林斯，目前仍在自由市場乏人問津。

柯林斯表示，他在出櫃時就已經考慮過這種情況，但他說：「我認為，必須要有人挺身而出作為第1個榜樣，不僅是代表球隊，也代表了美國體育界。」

現年34歲的柯林斯，是美國體育界首位在宣布退休前就宣布出櫃的球員，上季他在塞爾蒂克隊和巫師隊共出賽38場，平均可以貢獻1.1分、1.6籃板。今年暑假包含活塞隊等數支球隊曾表示有意簽下他作為禁區替補，但最後都只是在「只聞樓梯響」的階段。
