紐約設高門檻　滿21歲才能買煙

【李忠謙／綜合外電報導】紐約市議會前天通過購煙年齡法案，禁止該市商家出售各類煙草產品（包括電子煙）給21歲以下的民眾，希望藉此減少抽菸人數。紐約過去的合法購煙年齡為18歲，目前聯邦的規定也是18歲。

紐約市長彭博有30天的時間簽署這項「香煙21」（Tobacco 21）法案，一般預料他很快就會正式簽署。彭博前天也發表聲明，說：「藉著提高購煙年齡到21歲，我們將可預防下一個世代因為抽菸損害健康、甚至減少壽命。」

以後在紐約就算年滿20歲，也不能買香煙。翻攝網路
