「首都」一般指君主理政和居住的地方城市，所謂「天子腳下，首善之區」，柏林是德國的首都，其重要性不僅是因為貴為一國首都，更令人驚嘆的是其俯首即是的文化金礦。現為德國最大城市的柏林，位於東西歐交通要道之上，從13世紀開始便是許多邦國的首都，在第二次世界大戰前，被一堵圍牆給一分為二，1990年後兩德統一，柏林除了重新獲得了全德國首都的地位，更是隨著倒塌的圍牆而增加了其複雜的文化深度，更具名氣。

若從上至下地鳥瞰，柏林被森林、湖泊、河流所環抱，穿過市區的施普雷河變是主要的景點，柏林擁有眾多的歌劇院、劇院和樂團，是柏林的重要文化來源，有800年歷史的聖母教堂、市政廳、博物館島上的古老建築群更是主要的遊覽核心。因其古老的特質，成為喜歡歐式建築的你不可錯過的必遊景點；因其位於重要核心，成就其人文薈萃的獨特文化風格，11月09日晚間走進Somebody Cafe就等同於踏進柏林，讓王怡婷、廖亮羽帶你探探柏林的景點、建築、文化與青年。
