雪佛龍天然氣管爆炸 德州小鎮急撤居民

由於美國石油巨擘雪佛龍公司(Chevron)所經營的一條天然氣輸送管14日發生爆炸，導致德州密爾福(Milford)鎮居民被緊急撤離。不過當局表示，爆炸並未造成傷亡。

艾利斯郡(Ellis)警長辦公室發言人李文斯頓(Jo Ann Livingston)表示，他是在上午9點30分接獲報告說雪佛龍的天然氣管爆炸，雪佛龍要求撤離密爾福鎮的居民。

李文斯頓指出，約有200名學童也被一併撤離，被帶到鄰近的一處高中，他並未被告知有任何人受傷。

至於雪佛龍則發表聲明說，當天然氣管破裂時，一名員工在進行「挖掘行動」，5名工作人員都安全離開，沒有人受傷。

密爾福鎮位於達拉斯南方約80公里處，人口有700人。
