慘不忍睹　敘利亞飢民疑似宰食動物園獅子

【李忠謙／綜合外電報導】最近一張照片在社群網站上廣為流傳，間接證實了敘利亞民眾在戰火下掙扎求生的處境。照片中一頭垂死的公獅任人擺佈，還有人正從牠的後腳割肉。據稱這隻公獅來自大馬士革的Al-Qarya al-Shama動物園，敘利亞的民眾因食物短缺，才會跑進動物園宰殺同樣奄奄一席的動物。
 
連年戰火讓敘利亞的民眾已經陷入食物短缺，上個月就有伊斯蘭的神職人員發出教令，允許人們可以吃貓、吃狗、吃驢。當地一名神職人員表示：「我們發出這樣的教令，並非真的在宗教上允許這些事。而是因為人們正在受苦。」《每日電訊報》稱，雖然聯合國積極將食物運入敘利亞，但遭到圍攻的地區根本沒辦法把物資送進去。
