志工前進尼泊爾 教做衛生棉

尼泊爾部分地區的婦女當月經來時，必須躲到牛棚，並用髒布當衛生棉，容易造成感染；有鑑於此，中興大學國際志工服務社成員在暑假前往尼泊爾村落進行婦女衛教宣導，並協助她們用乾淨布料手工做衛生棉，販售貼補家用，改善當地婦女的生活。

多益獎學金今年提供14組高中職、大專的學生團隊，投入暑期公益活動，每隊可獲得新台幣10萬元。

由中興大學機械、植病、園藝、生技等科系組成的國際志工服務社尼泊爾團，暑假前往加德滿都附近村落擔任17天志工。副領隊張佳祐表示，剛去前3天完全沒有電，因為缺水只能3天洗1次澡，但同學們不覺得辛苦，反而體認到惜福的可貴。

此外，大同大學王信捷、東吳大學陳侃茵、廖曼淇、台科大企管所鄒雅棓4位大學女生，因為擔任志工而結緣，選擇前往台北的關愛之家，指導愛滋病童繪畫及作文，並把小朋友的作品製成桌曆義賣。
