約旦明年起成安理會非常任理事國

法新社報導，約旦6日正式取代沙烏地阿拉伯，從明年1月1日起，成為聯合國安理會的非常任理事國，任期兩年。

沙烏地阿拉伯原本在10月17日獲選出任未來兩年的安理會非常任理事國，但沙國在10月18日以安理會未能對敘利亞國內衝突採取行動為由，放棄擔任該會的15個非常任理事國之一。

約旦6日在聯合國大會的193個會員國中，獲得178票，順利取得非常任理事國席位。

外交官員及分析家認為，沙國當時的抗議除了是針對安理會，也以美國的敘利亞及中東政策為目標。
