印尼蘇門答臘火山噴發 11死

印尼國家災害應變總署發言人蘇托波(Sutopo Purwo Nugroho)說，蘇門答臘上的西納彭火山(Mount Sinabung)近日猛烈噴發，今天(1日)造成包括學生在內，有11人被灼熱的火山灰雲覆蓋而身亡。

蘇托波說，其中7名死者被人發現死於西納彭火山附近的蘇卡末里亞村(Sukameriah)，而且村內3人的遺體，是在當地時間今天傍晚，救難人員挖掘蘇卡末里亞村後才發現，然後被帶往醫院確認死因，該村位於蘇門答臘的西部。

另外4名死者是高中學生，他們是在前往西納彭火山遊覽途中，不幸遇到火山灰塵覆蓋而死亡。

西納彭火山休眠約400年，直到2010年再度活躍，去年9月也爆出爆發。包括西納彭火山在內，印尼有129座活火山。
