密蘇里大學教練海斯遭禁賽5場

先前因為對NCAA說謊，而遭到調查的密蘇里大學教練海斯，NCAA正式宣布對他的判決，他新球季將面臨5場禁賽。

不過這項決定馬上遭到各方美國媒體批評，主因在於，海斯違規是在先前擔任邁阿密大學總教練時期，現在處罰對於密蘇里大學相當不公平。上一個對於NCAA說謊而遭到處罰的教練，是前田納西大學的總教練皮爾，但他當時受到的處罰是禁賽3年，而海斯卻只有5場，這已經是NCAA今年至少第5次因判決引起爭議。
