國民黨十九全因為關說風暴，延期至11月10日，地點也從台北國父紀念館改為台中梧棲綜合體育館。不過國民黨黨中央評估參加的黨代表人數，卻從原本的7成5，上調到大約8成，有黨代表直言，就是要去看馬王同台，如何面對這次政治風暴。「九月政爭」成另類「全代會票房保證」。

忽然宣布延期，地點又比較偏遠，原本黨中央擔心會降低黨代表參加的意願。不過時間地點才剛宣布，就有許多黨代表主動向黨部表示會參加全代會，熱情程度，讓黨部頗感意外。

國民黨中央表示，黨代表總計約1600多人，加上其他身分的邀請對象，邀請名單約2200人。原訂9月29日舉行的全代會，統計可能的與會者約1600人，佔所有人數的7成5。改期後雖然還沒統計完畢，但預計參加人數將超過1700人，比例上看8成。
