英國54歲的業余攝影師大衛(David Remney)在英國北泰恩賽德市的惠特利海灣(Whitley Bay)拍到野生灰海豹『哈哈大笑』的逗趣場景。

環球網據英國《每日郵報》報導，照片中，一隻灰海豹把嘴巴張的大大的，看起來似乎是在開心地哈哈大笑，好像是被周圍某個幽默滑稽的場景逗得合不攏嘴。不過也有可能是它剛剛睡醒，懶懶地打個哈欠。 據大衛描述，拍照過程中，這隻灰海豹剛剛睡醒，它悠閒地坐在海岸邊靠近燈塔的大岩石上。大衛補充道，『雖然灰海豹似乎露出了哈哈大笑的表情，但是很有可能是在打哈欠。一般情況下，海豹是不會向人類展示自己的喜怒哀樂的。』

相關背景資料顯示，每年到了海豹繁殖的季節，英國政府會攜手相關公益組織要求人們遠離海豹棲息地，禁止捕殺海豹。
