聯準會很有可能在 12 月啟動 QE 縮減，PIMCO 執行長 Mohamed El-Erian 表示，如此一來股票等風險資產的安全網正在縮小。

《CNBC》報導，El-Erian 表示，但是聯準會想要達成其經濟目標，就不得不透過資產市場，也因此聯準會會覺得有義務繼續支撐資產市場，並非為了資產市場本身，而是做為一種手段達到他們想要的目的。

聯準會最新的會議紀錄公佈後，加深市場猜測其 12 月可能會縮減每月 850 億美元的購債規模。

El-Erian 表示，他並不知道聯準會何時會開始縮減，但他認為將在未來 12 個月內發生，且會採漸進式。
