疑轎車卡平交道遭撞駕駛沒有生命徵象送醫

一部轎車傍晚五點五十五分，在潭子圓通南路平交道，遭自強號衝撞，駕車駕駛被送醫，但是，送醫前已經沒有生命徵象，台鐵調度另一部列車將旅客接駁到豐原站，並進行障礙排除，到晚間七點多，只恢復單線通行。現場必須將嚴重受損的轎車拖吊之後，並修復受損的機車頭，才能全面恢復通行，台鐵南下北上列車都因此受到影響。

這起平交道車禍，發生在傍晚五點五十五分，一三六次自強號從高雄開往七堵，傍晚五點四十三分，從台中站發車，才經過十多分鐘，就在潭子圓通南路平交道，撞上一部卡在平交道上的轎車，自強號來不及煞車，衝撞之後，一名男性駕駛當沒有生命徵象，被送醫搶救，而現場轎車嚴重毀損，自強號機車頭也受損，台鐵緊急調度另一部列車到場接駁自強號旅客，台鐵搶修人員以及鐵路警察也趕抵現場處理。此時北上南下列車都受到影響，台鐵清理現場，先讓單線通行，而現場必須將轎車吊離，還需要修復機車頭，才能恢復通行。

至於這部轎車卡在平交道的原因，還有待鐵路警察調查、釐清。
