高雄燈會藝術節點燈　封街開幕無人潮

「2014高雄燈會藝術節」今晚點燈！市府晚間在三多商圈中山路上封街舉辦開幕活動，由知名的九天民俗藝團及滅火器樂團暖場，並由歌手嚴爵、荒山亮及霹靂布袋戲等接力演出，晚上7點半陳菊市長由陳菊市長點亮街道燈飾，宣告燈會開始。
 
不同於以往，今年高雄燈會首次把主活動區從港邊移往市區，在市區主要道路中山路、五福路沿線裝設各式燈飾，要喚起大家在兒時遊街賞燈的記憶，讓遊客沿燈漫遊，吃喝玩樂購物。
 
不過，燈會活動範圍過大，加上今天是周二，到場群眾並不多，還不到五百人。路過民眾程小姐說，「不知道有燈會開幕活動，可能沒什麼大卡司，所以吸引不了民眾！」周先生則說，「街道燈飾很一般，無法令人驚艷，騎車看過去就夠了！」（涂建豐／高雄報導）
