【黃瑞娟／花蓮報導】橫跨花蓮溪的鳳林鎮中興橋被列為老舊危橋，花蓮縣政府在舊橋旁興建新橋，卻因中央核定經費不足，導致今年3月「完工」的新橋只蓋一半，面臨無法通車的窘境，被審計部要求儘速改善。花蓮縣政府今會同鳳林鎮公所、自來水公司等單位到場會勘。

縣府表示，蓋橋申請經費2億 3670 萬元，中央只核准1億3500萬，受限於經費問題，因此橋樑無法連接至道路。經申請後公路局今年已再撥9千萬元，第2期工程已於上月25日發包，預計明年底才可通車。
