過期藥別亂丟 交藥局護環境

過年了，家家戶戶大掃除，家中的過期藥物也別忘了清理。一名年約60歲的老婦人今天帶著家中清出來的藥品到社區藥局請藥師幫忙處理，其中包含家中常備的藥水、藥膏及保健食品。藥師表示，過期藥物吃了反而有害健康，當垃圾丟也會汙染環境。

台北市藥師公會常務理事，沈采穎藥師表示，一般家中常備藥品經常放到過期而名眾不知道，吃下去不但不能保健反而有害健康。像保健食品一般保存期限是三到五年，但開封後就只能放半年，家上常備的藥水、藥膏也是如此。

沈采穎藥師表示，有人會把開封後的藥品放冰箱想延長保存期限，其實這是錯誤的觀念，因為可能造成藥品受潮。特別是像糖漿類的也不能放冰箱。

另外，眼藥水開封後保存期限只有一個月，藥粉只有一星期，民眾應該養成寫下藥品開封日期的好習慣。(照片吳霈蓁拍攝)
