Samsung 在美國發表以教育為中心的 GALAXY Tab，預計在 4 月份推出。

Samsung 曾表示會積極開發平板電腦市場，看來所言不假；稍早他們在美國發表了以教育為中心的 GALAXY Tab，預計在 2014 年 4 月推出，但售價未定。

這款平板電腦的硬體規格與 Samsung GALAXY Tab 3 10.1 完全相同，採用 10.1 吋、1280 x 800 解析度螢幕，內建 1.6GHz 雙核心處理器、1GB RAM，共有 16 / 32GB 雙版本，並能透過 microSD 記憶卡擴充最大 64GB 儲存空間，搭配 300 萬畫素相機與 130 萬畫素前鏡頭，電池容量為 6,800mAh，系統版本則為 Android 4.2 Jelly Bean。

該產品主要是針對 K-12、也就是在美國幼稚園至 12 年級的學童所推出，除了內建 Google Play 商店外，亦擁有老師批准才能使用的應用程式、書籍、影片等功能，或是校方購買及管理平台。
